Cancer in our Pets

Let's talk about cancer. We know much more about cancer than we did 30 years ago. However, finding a actual solution to cancer is not that much closer. What we're going to address here is, why is cancer on the rise in our pets?

Back by popular demand we've asked Dr Patricia Jordan to take us through some of the basics on cancer in pets.  If you're not familiar with Dr Jordan she is a certified licensed veterinarian and a Naturopath and has trained in nutrition, homeopathy, Chinese Medicine as well as Eastern, Western, Chinese, Ayurveda Herbalism so is pretty much a planetary herbalist. She has been a guest speaker at numerous worldwide conferences and recently gave a talk at one of the largest world conferences addressing and discussing cancer in animals. 

What is Causing Cancer in our Pets?

Cancer is always going to be a controversial topic as nobody really likes addressing the real reasons or links behind what is causing the increase of cancer in our pets. And although pets are generally healthier, what we do need to start looking at more is whether they're living with optimum health, longevity of life and why our pets are now adopting the same illnesses found in humans such as cancer, diabetes, tumors, etc.  Unfortunately cancer is another knock on effect to things like the over vaccination of pets, the toxicity in their everyday foods and environmental poisons.

Over vaccination 

SV40 has been found as a contaminant virus in many vaccines, in pet vaccines and also cancer causing viruses. Feline retroviruses for instance have been found contaminating pet vaccines. In human vaccines there are SV40 Simian Monkey viruses., Chicken Leucosis viruses, Herpes viruses and Pig Circa viruses found contaminating children's vaccines. 

There are also now GMOs in vaccines, genetically engineered viruses that have been made in the laboratory, as well as other ingredients in vaccines that are now known to cause cancer such as formaldehyde, mercury or Thimerasol. 

Sadly we don't have full visibility of what ingredients are used within vaccines and their effects because manufacturing companies try to say a full ingredient listing is "proprietary" information and therefore non-disclosed.

An article going over the link of pediatric cancer rates increasing due to childhood vaccinations also reports that virus laden animal tissues themselves are used to make vaccines and the continuous cell lines used in vaccine manufacturing are often genetically modified by tumor causing viruses. These can reproduce indefinitely, making vaccine production more streamlined and high yielding but, in the process the same out of control growth mechanism is what results in cancer cells growing. Vaccines have been shown to cause malignant tumor growth in lab animals and we've seen in clinical practice the same effects from vaccines, with an increase in cancers and tumors in pets! 

I've seen very large cancers on animals and sometimes even a second or third time that follows multiple vaccinations. It's especially sad for me to see this when I've learned from the world premiere veterinary immunologist  Dr Ronald Schultz that the actual duration of immunity from vaccines given to pets for these lethal viruses, is a lifetime. 

Once your pet has been immunized, it's good for the lifetime of your cat or dog and repeating vaccines just increases the chance of adverse events like cancer resulting. Internal organs and the blood system can all develop cancer from vaccines and the rate increases the more vaccinations that are administered to your pet.

Toxic Foods

What we're also finding is cancer coming from foods that are laden with pesticides or herbicides and that are genetically modified. Organic foods are less likely to contain these carcinogens. There are now labels for finding certified organic and certified non GMO foods. It would be best to avoid the foods that are not clean and natural in order to avoid possibilities of cancer. 

An earlier article I wrote on the GMOs will explain more how the reprogramming of your genes or your animals genes can occur. 

Documentation is also showing that by eating GMO's, cells are being re-programmed and what would be a normal form of Apoptosis, which is where cells are naturally programmed for death within the body, that actual cell signalling characteristics are changing and rather than being able to die-off they are developing into tumors instead.

Chemicals, including pesticides and herbicides, endocrine disrupting chemicals, heavy metals like mercury, cadmium, lead, these are all carcinogens and mostly associated with industrialization. Removing any of these from your outdoor space or home cleaning and even body care products will help to avoid the cancers that come with their use. 

One of the chapters in the course I teach on Natural Rearing methods is to teaching students how to DIY it and make their own products, safe products with organic ingredients from plants or from using cleaning agents like vinegar or baking soda. There are good alternatives and most you can make yourself with easy low number ingredient recipes.

Environmental Poisons 

The latest cancer causing environmental toxin is the one we really never saw coming and that is the EMF or EMR electromagnetic radiation. Heart base tumors are now associated with cell phone usage as are cochlear cancers on the side of the head you hold your cell phone. Our pets also are exposed to this radiation when we don't have an EMF clean home and live close to cell towers, TV or radio stations, and microwave communication stations. 

They now have plenty of evidence to tie the EMF EMR to cancers. In humans the breast, prostate, thyroid and malignant lymphomas and now heart base tumors all track back to cell phone use and high EMF in the homes. 

Smart meters are not smart and are resulting in cancer. One of my patients developed malignant lymphoma because the owner didn't know the dog shouldn't sleep every night outside on hay bales that were directly in front of the smart meters. The dog was on duty on coyote watch every night, a job she did for many years without issues. Unfortunately only two weeks after the smart meter was put in, she developed malignant lymphoma.

Most of the research done on testing something out as a carcinogen begins in animals. Finding that mammals respond in kind, the writing is on the wall for humans. Unfortunately the writing isn't graffiti but a precautionary warning that we see every day coming up the chain to more complex beings. 

When the EMF EMR leads to anxiety and agitation in humans our pets get the same problem because it turns out we're all connected energetically. The energy courses through the crystals that our bodies all contain and our longtime companion animals are cycling in the same frequency. 

If we're suffering in an anxious sympathetic state our bodies can't even heal. All the resources are turned over to being stressed and poised to run rather than in relaxation and ready to heal.  This is why I'm fond of guided imagery CDs for pet owners to listen to, to not only benefit themselves in reducing stress levels but it helps their companion animal aswell. 

Simple Preventative Measures 

In order to reduce the risk of cancer there are a few simple measures you can start to take, ultimately it comes down to cleaning everything up. That means trying to adopt a healthier lifestyles for you and your pet. 

Our pets are our sentinels in a way. We need to heed the warning. Cleaning up our environment, stopping unnecessary vaccination administration, unhealthy use of chemicals and eating a clean organic if not biodynamic diet is a start. Drinking clean water, filtering out the toxins, the heavy metals, getting exercise and in the cleanest way possible, in the sun and in the forest or woods are all ways to decrease the chance of cancer taking place.

Look at reducing your exposure to toxins from foods by buying organically grown or grow your own. Go for products that have a short shelve life, that way you know there are fewer toxic ingredients in the product you're buying. Look at foods that keep and promote the good flora in the intestines.

Reduce yours and your pet's exposure to environmental toxins, whether this is from no longer using chemical based products to clean your house, to limiting the amount of time your on and around your mobile phone, turn it completely off at night if you can. Adopt a healthier policy for your pet in not repeating vaccines, once dosed it lasts a lifetime. 

It turns out a minuscule amount of cancers are attributed to genetics and even then, you have to wonder with all of the gene altering ways environmental toxicities can impact health, if they are actually the pivotal cause to genetic cancers as well. Only time will tell sadly until we get full disclosure around all the chemicals added to quite literally everything and the direct effects they have to both human and pet health.
